Identify your tree using a photo of one leaf. This app uses artificial intelligence. The usability is very straight forward: wave the phone in front of the leaf of the tree and the app will tell you the tree name.
This app allows the opportunity to use computer vision techniques to know the tree species. It is used artificial intelligence using two different models. The final result depends on the better score of the two models, it means it is used the best of the two models options. The models are from CreateML and from Turicreate which is a convolutional network.

This app has also an option to report an image that couldn’t be recognised. If that is the case, it is automated that you can report it immediately by email to the author. So it guarantees that the database will be improving constantly.

The intended purpose of this app is help to identify the trees, while you enjoy . Spending time in nature is one of the best feelings in the world. Nature revives our energy and inner spirit and can teach us major lessons if we are willing to observe and understand. Getting in tune with it can help optimize our immunity and ultimately our wellbeing.

A huge image database (thousand of images) has been used to get the maximum accuracy for each tree, with more than 180 species which are:

A Tip:
The location of a tree affects its appearance and shape. Trees in woodland often have narrower crowns compared to trees in parks with lots of space around them.
